Associate Attorney

  • Meyer, Suozzi, English & Klein, P.C. has a longstanding New York City-based labor practice representing unions and employee benefits funds.
  • We are seeking a part-time (average 20 hours/week) associate attorney with a minimum of 2 years of relevant legal professional experience.
  • Our attorneys work together in a collegial office and value the contributions of each person. We provide professional mentoring so that our attorneys continue to learn and grow.
  • Duties of the associate attorney will include participation in all aspects of the practice, including responsibility for arbitrations and administrative disciplinary hearings.
  • Applicants should be admitted to the New York State bar, have excellent researching, writing, and communicating skills, and have a demonstrated commitment to advancing the cause of labor unions and their members.
  • Annual salary based on years of experience for this part-time position between $45,000 and $70,000.

  • One-on-one coaching and lunch-and-learn training programs aimed at meeting your continued education requirements, furthering your legal skills and developing tools for business development, networking and building referral relationships.
