Paul Millus Joins Meyer Suozzi as Of Counsel

The law firm of Meyer, Suozzi, English & Klein, P.C. is pleased to announce that Paul F. Millus has joined the firm as Of Counsel to the firm’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution and Employment Law practice groups. He will be located in the firm’s Garden City, Long Island and New York, N.Y. offices.

A former Special Assistant United States Attorney for the Eastern District of New York, Mr. Millus has been involved in all aspects of state and federal litigation, handling a variety of matters from inception, motion practice, trial and appeals. Mr. Millus has tried both jury and non-jury matters dealing with a wide range of issues from civil rights, commercial, constitutional, real estate, employment, tort and Surrogate’s Court matters. Mr. Millus regularly provides advice to employers and employees concerning their rights and obligations in the workplace including consultation on employee handbooks, discrimination policies, FMLA, FLSA, employment contracts, wage and hour concerns and all manner of workplace issues.

In 2011, Mr. Millus was bestowed an “AV preeminent” rating by Martindale-Hubbell, the nationally recognized legal directory, signifying the highest rating for legal ability and standards of conduct and ethics throughout his professional career. Mr. Millus has been recognized by New York Super Lawyers Magazine. He is the Former Chair of the Federal Courts Committee of the Nassau County Bar Association, a Master and Executive Board Member of the Theodore Roosevelt American Inn of Court and a member of the Eastern District Association of former Assistant and Special Assistant U.S. Attorneys. Mr. Millus also served as an Adjunct Professor of Law at the Jacob D. Fuchsberg Touro Law Center teaching Sales.

Mr. Millus joins Meyer Suozzi from Snitow Kanfer Holtzer & Millus LLP, where he was a Partner. Mr. Millus received his Bachelor’s Degree from Creighton University, and is a graduate of Creighton University Law School.
