On October 5, 2006, Kevin Schlosser, chair of the Litigation Department at Meyer, Suozzi presented a CLE program to the Westchester Women's Bar Association, sponsored by the Litigation and Corporate/Commercial Committees, entitled "Electronic Discovery: The New Frontier, An Interactive, Practical Guide to the Latest State and Federal Principles," along with the Honorable Leonard B. Austin, Justice of the New York Supreme Court, Commercial Division, Nassau County.
Mr. Schlosser and Justice Austin have given similar CLE presentations on electronic evidence and discovery to the Nassau County Bar Association and the Theodore Roosevelt American Inn of Court. Justice Austin has authored one of the leading New York State decisions on electronic discovery, Lipco Electrical Corp v. ASG Consulting Corp., 4 Misc.3d 1019(A), 2004 WL 1949062 (N.Y.Sup.), 2004 N.Y. Slip Op. 50967(U).
