A Game Show Panel Discussion
Paul Millus recently created and chaired a CLE at the Theodore Roosevelt Inn of Court, titled Breach or No Breach.
In this game show/panel discussion format, fact patterns were posed to contestants/audience members and asked if the facts indicated that there was – or was not – a breach of fiduciary duty. "We had all the bells and whistles associated with a game show where the answers were given and discussed with our distinguished panel: Hon. Jerome Murphy, Hon. Sharon M.J. Gianelli, Greg Zucker, Esq. Robert O’Brien, Esq. and Michael Kwon, Esq., together with two law students from St. John’s Law School – Arianne Philemy and Abigail Drummond. Everyone worked very hard to make this unique CLE experience a rousing success," reflected Mr. Millus.
Through hypothetical scenarios and case studies, Mr. Millus delved into the complexities of breach of contract claims, offering attendees insights into the practical and legal nuances of identifying, litigating, and resolving such disputes. This engaging session reflected Millus' vast litigation experience and his commitment to education within the legal community.
The event was part of the Theodore Roosevelt Inn of Court's broader mission to promote excellence in advocacy and professionalism among lawyers.
