Barry R. Shapiro, Co-chair of the Corporate Law practice in the Firm’s Garden City office , was recognized by WNET THIRTEEN as one of their “Pioneers of Thirteen”. The online tribute honors those who helped establish THIRTEEN, over the past 50 years, as one of America’s most respected and innovative public media providers. Mr. Shapiro had previously served as WLIW’s Chairman and facilitated the merging of public television stations WLIW and WNET. He remains a member of the Board of Trustees of THIRTEEN and previously served as a Vice Chair.
