Andrew Turro is speaking at Albany Law School’s Government Law Center for the 13th annual Saratoga Institute, a program dedicated to exploring the legal and public policy implications of racing and gaming in New York state and across the country, on Tuesday, Aug. 13, and Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2013 at The Gideon Putnam Hotel & Resort in Saratoga Springs, N.Y. Speakers will include racing and gaming luminaries from around the county. Topics will include: Do We Have a Drug Problem or a Trainer/Vet Problem? National Uniform Drug Policy Out-of-competition Testing Therapeutic Medication in the Race Horse Drug Positives New York Casinos Economic Development and Siting Casinos Parlaying the Casino and Racing Industries Advance registration is required for attendance, and the cost to attend both days is $350.00 for private sector and $150.00 for nonprofits, government, horsemen and students.
