Meyer, Suozzi, English & Klein, P.C. is pleased to announce that Thomas R. Slome, Chair of the firm’s Bankruptcy practice and Co-Chair of the firm’s Corporate Finance practice, has been elected Secretary of the Board of Directors Big Brothers Big Sisters of Long Island (BBBSLI). Mr. Slome has been a Director since 2011.
BBBSLI, a non-profit organization, is the oldest and largest youth mentoring group in the United States. BBBSLI makes meaningful, professionally supported matches between adult volunteers (‘Bigs’) and children (‘Littles’). Their mission is to provide children facing adversity with strong and enduring, professionally supported one-to-one relationships that change their lives for the better, forever.
Mr. Slome, a Rockville Centre resident received a B.A in Economics from the State University of New York at Stony Brook and earned his J.D. from Rutgers Law School.
