The breakfast will be held at the New York City Bar, located at 42 West 44th Street New York, New York, at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 27th. Ms. Mazer-Marino will be a panel speaker at the breakfast and will examine the issues of intellectual property and bankruptcy while discussing how businesses can protect their intangible assets before and during bankruptcy. Ms. Mazer-Marino was named a member of Meyer, Suozzi, English & Klein, P.C. in 2011 in the firm’s Bankruptcy & Business Reorganization and Corporate Finance law practice. Specializing in bankruptcy and creditors’ rights, she has extensive experience representing debtors, creditors’ committees, and secured and unsecured creditors in large and complex chapter 11 bankruptcy cases. She has represented chapter 7 and chapter 11 trustees, chapter 11 debtors in possession and plan administrators in all aspects of bankruptcy case administration. Ms. Mazer-Marino also serves as a chapter 7 panel trustee in the Southern District of New York.
Ms. Berman is an Associate in the Bankruptcy and Business Reorganization practice and concentrates on creditor’s rights, bankruptcy reorganizations, work-outs and business restructuring. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Berman was an Associate in the New York office of a large international law firm where she rep debtor, creditor, and investor clients.
