Brian Stolar is Of Counsel to Meyer, Suozzi, English & Klein, P.C., and is a part of the Local Government, Land Use Law and Environmental Compliance, Litigation and Dispute Resolution and Real Estate practice groups located in Garden City, Long Island, N.Y. Mr. Stolar represents both public and private sector clients. In the private sector, Mr. Stolar represents property owners, developers, small businesses and major corporations in obtaining municipal approvals in both simple and complex land development projects.
In the public sector, Mr. Stolar is the Village Attorney for the Villages of Sea Cliff, Woodsburgh, Hewlett Neck, Hewlett Bay Park and has served as counsel to numerous other municipalities and planning and zoning boards on Long Island. He has taught continuing legal education courses and published several articles on land use law, planning law and the law of eminent domain. Mr. Stolar also has lectured on land use and municipal law topics for the Nassau County Bar Association, Nassau County Planning Federation and the National Business Institute.
Mr. Stolar has served as an expert witness and land use consultant. He has appeared as a guest commentator on Channel 4 news in connection with land use and eminent domain issues.
