Linda E. Rodd has been Of Counsel in Meyer, Suozzi’s Labor and ERISA Practice Groups since 2000. She works on all aspects of collectively bargained employee benefits law.
Ms. Rodd is co-counsel to the 1199 Greater New York multi-employer Pension, Health, Education, Job Security, Labor-Management Cooperation and Child Care Funds – which provide benefits to 20,000 1199 members in Metropolitan New York and New Jersey and their dependents.
Drafting trust agreements and IRS filings for tax-exempt Funds;
Advising Funds’ Staff and Trustees on plan design and operational structure, including preparation of restated plan documents to comply with legislative changes;
Before joining Meyer, Suozzi, Ms. Rodd was a Partner at Vladeck, Waldman, Elias & Engelhard. Previously, she was an associate at Cravath, Swaine & Moore.
