Michael P. Reynolds is an Associate at Meyer, Suozzi, English & Klein, P.C. and is part of the Tax Certiorari and Condemnation practice group located in Garden City, Long Island, N.Y. Mr. Reynolds’ practice includes tax certiorari, institutional compliance/risk management and private investigations. In addition to his experience as a tax certiorari attorney, he has extensive experience as a civil trial attorney and investigator, as well as a municipal attorney responsible for internal compliance matters, including State I.G. Investigations.

Notable experience includes:

Deputy County Attorney liaison responsible for compliance with State Inspector General’s investigation into the Nassau County Police Department’s Forensic Evidence Bureau.

Uncovered indisputable evidence of insurance fraud which prompted immediate and unconditional cessation of litigation.

Earned unprecedented criminal court victory following investigation of fire code violations. Worked closely with fire inspection teams to reverse previous poor conviction record attributable to lack of inter-departmental cooperation.

Served as co-coordinator for the Nassau County Attorney’s accredited in-house CLE program.


Prior to joining Meyer Suozzi, Mr. Reynolds served as a Deputy County Attorney for the Tax Certiorari & Condemnation Bureau at the Nassau County Attorney’s Office. Mr. Reynolds began his career as an Assistant District Attorney in the Nassau County District Attorney’s Office. Later, he became a staff attorney with Liberty Mutual Insurance Company and was an associate at several Long Island based law firms.
