Robert C. Angelillo
In 2009, Robert C. Angelillo was named a Member of Meyer, Suozzi, English & Klein, P.C., having originally joined the firm as an Associate in 2003. Mr. Angelillo is an experienced commercial litigator with a diverse practice in the state and federal courts in New York and New Jersey. Mr. Angelillo has represented clients in a wide range of complex commercial matters, including prosecuting and defending against claims for breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, commercial fraud, business torts, professional liability and malpractice, Federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act claims, construction law and disability benefits claims, including administrative appeals under ERISA. He has also negotiated and drafted complex commercial contracts.

Mr. Angelillo served as Law Clerk to the Honorable Arlene R. Lindsay, United States Magistrate Judge, United States District Court, Eastern District of New York, from 1999 to 2000.
In 2010, Mr. Angelillo received the Top 40 Under 40 Award from Long Island Business News for his leadership in business and outstanding contributions to the Long Island community.
Mr. Angelillo has written extensively on construction law and disability benefits litigation, having contributed numerous articles to McGraw-Hill’s New York Construction magazine, The Nassau Lawyer and Mann Report Building. He has also co-authored articles published in the New York Law Journal.
Mr. Angelillo is also active in numerous local charitable organizations. He has been the Meyer Suozzi Team Captain for the Every Woman Matters Walk, benefiting the Katz Hospital at North Shore-LIJ, for the last three years. He was named an Outstanding Advocate for the Arts in 2012 by the Long Island Arts Council at Freeport and also served on the 2012 We Care Golf Outing Committee.
