Elise S. Feldman is an Associate of the Labor and Employee Benefits ERISA practice at the New York City office of Meyer, Suozzi, English & Klein, P.C. Ms. Feldman represents individuals, unions, employee benefit funds and union members in all aspects of federal and state litigation, arbitrations and administrative hearings.  Ms. Feldman also advises plan administrators and trustees on legal compliance, fund administration, investment matters and fiduciary responsibility.

Professional Profile

Before joining the firm, Ms. Feldman was an Associate at Friedman & Wolf. While there, she represented unions and employee benefit funds in connection with ERISA and NLRA matters, unions in National Labor Relations Board proceedings and grievance arbitrations, prepared strategic plans for union campaigns and union and employee benefit funds litigation. She also litigated in federal and state courts, before administrative agencies and in arbitral forums. Prior to that, Ms. Feldman served as a law clerk to Justice Elliot Wilk of the New York State Supreme Court and was a student advocate for the Criminal Defense Clinic.

Education

Ms. Feldman graduated from Columbia College in 1995 and received her J.D. from New York University School of Law in 2000. Ms. Feldman was a Root-Tilden-Kern Public Service Scholar and Senior Articles Editor for the Review of Law and Social Change.

Professional Affiliations

Ms. Feldman is a member of the Civil Rights Committee of the New York State Bar Association, the Labor and Employment Committee of the National Lawyers’ Guild and the Lawyers Coordinating Committee of the AFL-CIO.
