Started over 50 years ago on Queens, New York, today the company has offices in New York, South Carolina, Arizona, California, Canada, England, Mexico, Germany, Spain and Japan.

Always on the cutting edge of their industry Rubie’s has taken what was once a cottage industry and made it into a year-round enterprise supplying mass merchandise and big box retailers as well as off-Broadway theatres and schools with costume needs, even sports team mascots.

Rubie’s has expanded it’s product offerings to include theatrical make-up and props/costume accessories. As a custom costume designer, Rubie’s has even manufactured costumes for Fruit of the Loom and Kool-Aid television commercials.
